Not all are in this good shape. As we can see, it must have spent many days in a garage. The switches are not used. But that is not the problem. It is the age of the electric if it is NOT used enough. It will always turn on and start immediately, but all the little electric helpers get old.

This viewing could have been good if you would slow down your camera work showing the interior and then slow down when driving the car as well, so we can get a good look at it. Yes, increase acceleration after, but it was just a horrible rush , throughout. Sorry about this, but I was looking forward to viewing your video. Is this car an Automatic, as I think it could be. The manual ones had the floor gear change at the side of the Drivers Seat ?

To have a useful car for sporting and even modern road conditions why would someone not modify. Most older Morgan Owners enjoy modifications so they can drive their machines not trailer them. My series V 4/4 came over in 63 and shared some MGA components like the 48 spoke Dunlops. I got it in 96 and took it down to the frame in my garage for what amounted to a five year rebuild. Over the years I have added a number of modifications such as to make it a reasonably reliable machine capable for the demands of contemporary conditions. However it's essence remains a series V 4/4

Pretty sure a 1909 Rolls didn't have an electric starter motor. That car would have to have been hand crank started. Car in the vid has had a popular modification done to it to ease starting.
